Yukiya is not much of a musical person. After all, his family is made up of great warriors and so is he. But yes, after his stint in the Outside World, humans have begun to rub their hobbies on him, especially music. So when he is outside just for a trip bc he’s had enough of listening to the court ravens’ shenanigans at the Purple Hall, he stays at Hajime’s flat in Shinjuku to spend a few days, and there he listens to music. On the CD player the music from Big Thief, Bruce Springsteen, Orville Peck, Sayuri, and even some enka just for fun (bc why not) keeps on playing. Anyway, he loves this particular song, “Shark Smile.” And he doesn’t know why. Perhaps that line “She came around and I stole a glance in my youth” that does it. And it reminds him of someone he would love to meet again. Maybe someday.
